What Is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic therapy began in the United States in 1897 and has been popular in Europe and America for a hundred years. After more than 100 years of systematic development and effective promotion, this scientific natural therapy has been widely recognized by western developed countries. At present, there are dozens of colleges and universities teaching chiropractic therapy in the world. WHO also published official guidelines in 2005 to promote chiropractic therapy worldwide.

Chiropractic aims to improve spine and nervous system to have a best function and health. It focuses on treating the problem from the root cause, while general medicine focuses on some specific disease and symptom. Chiropractic is a pure manual therapy and patients do not need to take any medicine and have injection. After measuring, calculating and analyzing spine X-ray film, experienced Chiropractor can treat the patient’s spine related problem effectively within 20 minutes by adjustment and exercise advice.

It is very safe if the chiropractic adjustment is performed by a professional and experienced chiropractor. Newborns and children can also have chiropractic adjustment to repair birth injuries, born spinal deformities and acquired injuries. Each chiropractor can skillfully choose most ideal therapy according to patient’s age and individual symptoms.
